A Little About Me.
Art has brought many positive changes to my life. I started art as a therapeutic activity following a personal loss about 13 years ago. The process of drawing and painting took me to a happy place and helped me to heal from the pain. Through my work, I try to convey the emotions I feel and connections make with the subject to create an awareness of the world around us in terms of forms, colours, shapes and patterns. Simplicity and diversity inspire me. Most of my work reflects experiences of life spent at the aesthetically inspiring places like Canada, India and Nepal.
I work primarily with oil pastels and try to capture, preserve and interpret the moments and visual impressions encountered in my daily living.
I am member of Federation of Canadian Artists, Assiniboia Group of Artists Cooperative, Mentoring Artists for Women Art, and Art Gallery of South Western Manitoba.
